Entry Checklist — India

Before You Fly

  • Apply for an Indian e-Tourist Visa (eTV) at indianvisaonline.gov.in at least 4 days before your travel date, but no more than 120 days in advance.
  • Check your passport's validity. It must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your arrival in India.
  • Ensure you have a confirmed return ticket or onward journey ticket.
  • Have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in India.optional
