Entry Checklist — Australia

Before You Apply

Check your eligibility for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Singaporean citizens are generally eligible.
Ensure your Singaporean passport has at least 6 months validity from your intended date of entry into Australia.
Have a valid email address to receive your ETA grant notification.
Have a valid credit card or PayPal account to pay the ETA service fee.

Application Process

Download the Australian ETA app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Register an account or log in if you already have one.
Follow the prompts in the app to complete the ETA application. You will need to scan your passport and provide personal information.
Answer all questions truthfully and accurately.
Pay the service fee via the app.
Keep a screenshot or record of your ETA application reference number.optional

Fees & Payment

The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) has a service fee of AUD 20.
Payment can be made using a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or PayPal through the ETA app.

After Approval

You will receive an email confirming your ETA grant. This is usually processed very quickly, but can take up to 24 hours.
The ETA is electronically linked to your passport. You do not need to print anything.
An ETA allows multiple visits to Australia for tourism purposes, up to 3 months per visit, within a 12-month period from the date of issue.
