Entry Checklist โ€” Peru

Before You Fly

  • Check your passport's expiration date. It must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Peru.
  • Confirm airline baggage allowance and restrictions on the airline's website.
  • Make copies of your passport's bio page, airline tickets, and other important documents. Store them separately from the originals.optional
  • Inform your bank and credit card companies of your travel dates to avoid any holds on your accounts.optional

Documents Needed

  • Valid Brazilian passport.
  • Round-trip or onward travel ticket.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay.optional
  • Hotel reservation or proof of accommodation.optional

At the Border

  • Present your passport and round-trip/onward ticket to the immigration officer.
  • Answer any questions the immigration officer may have about your trip.
  • Receive an Andean Migration Card (Tarjeta Andina de Migraciรณn - TAM).
  • Ensure the immigration officer stamps your passport with the entry date and authorized stay duration.

Fees & Payment

  • Visa fees are not required for Brazilian citizens entering Peru for tourism.
