Visa Exemption Eligibility

  • Ensure your trip aligns with the permitted purposes (tourism/leisure) and duration (no more than 15 days) under the visa-free policy.

Before You Fly

  • Book round-trip flight tickets to demonstrate your intention to leave China within the allowed visa-free period (15 days).
  • Book accommodation for the duration of your stay in China. Keep confirmation readily available.
  • Inform your bank of your travel dates to avoid any issues with your credit or debit cards while in China.optional

Documents Needed

  • Valid Spanish passport with at least six months of validity remaining beyond your intended stay in China.
  • Photocopy of your passport's bio page (the page with your photo and personal details).optional
  • Confirmed round-trip flight tickets showing entry and exit from China within the 15-day limit.
  • Hotel booking confirmations or proof of accommodation for your entire stay in China.
  • Travel itinerary outlining your planned activities and destinations within China.optional

At the Border

  • Present your passport, round-trip flight tickets, and hotel booking confirmations to the immigration officer upon arrival.
  • Answer any questions the immigration officer may have about your purpose of visit and intended duration of stay truthfully and clearly.
  • Complete the arrival card (if required) accurately and legibly.
  • Ensure the immigration officer stamps your passport with the correct entry date and permitted duration of stay (up to 15 days).

While in China

  • Adhere to all Chinese laws and regulations during your stay.
  • Do not overstay the permitted 15-day visa-free period. Overstaying can result in fines, detention, and future travel restrictions.
  • Carry a copy of your passport and visa (if applicable) with you at all times for identification purposes.optional
